I thought craving bread & peanut butter was normal. Instead of the Standard American Diet (SAD) of fried food, chips and diet soda I tried to eat more natural foods. But, that didn't work.
My energy was low. I traveled to Thailand where I gave up old habits to shed 53 lbs.
My energy zoomed- Walked marathon at 59, climbed Colorado's Mt. Elbert (14,400 ft.) & Africa's Kilimanjaro (19,340 ft.) in 2016.
After 8 weeks, 4 trips to the Amazon I wrote Amazon Adventures. I traveled 500 miles down the Amazon in 2014; returned in 2015 to teach Controlling Diabetes at Clinica Carmen Lucia.
