I craved bread, yogurt, cheese & peanut butter. My bones were dissolving at age 47 so I had surgery for parathyroid dis-ease. I didn't know my body was leaching calcium out of my bones.

My energy was low.  I traveled to Thailand, went vegetarian, drank coconut water, lost 53 pounds.
I was inspired
 by a Special Olympic's gal to walk 26.2 miles, climb Mt. Elbert & Mt. Kilimanjaro.    

As a Rotary volunteer in Brazil, I saw benefits of wild super fruits and wrote Amazon Adventures. I sailed 500 miles on the 
Amazon and taught Controlling Diabetes at Clinica Carmen Lucia.
