I thought craving bread & peanut butter was normal. Instead of the Standard American Diet (SAD) of fried food, chips and diet soda I ate natural foods. But, that didn't work.
My energy was low. I traveled to Thailand, learned to give up cravings and shed 53 lbs.
I completed my first marathon at 59, climbed Colorado's Mt. Elbert (14,400 ft.) and biked
New Zealand's North Island.
After 8 weeks, 4 trips to the Amazon I wrote Amazon Adventures. I returned again in 2014 to travel 500 miles down the Amazon and to teach Controlling Diabetes at Clinica Carmen Lucia.
